Being with Parents in the Doing of Parenting

This half day workshop is for practitioners, parents, grandparents, carers and anyone else who supports families. It will provide participants with an introduction to attachment and how we can all recognise and meet the needs of children.
Children need us to be present with them but so often life is busy and stressful for the adults around them. This workshop is a reminder to stop, breathe and listen with our whole bodies to what children are telling us. Children flourish and our relationships are improved beyond measure when the adults stop and listen and radically love children. Once we are able to do this, we stop doing parenting and can focus on being parents.
Whilst the content of this workshop will focus on the early and middle years of childhood, the concepts can be applied to older children. Angharad is able to adapt this workshop into a shorter keynote presentation if required.
